‍Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Medical Platforms to develop and maintain production-grade systems supporting medical device software. In this role, you will contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable healthcare platforms, automated data pipelines, and cloud-native applications within regulated MedTech environments. The position combines backend engineering, data processing workflows, and selected full-stack responsibilities across production systems.

You will work with modern technologies such as Python, .NET, Angular, and SQL-based databases while ensuring best practices, reliability, and technical excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will join an extremely motivated team committed to performing high-impact work in the precision medicine field, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to align software solutions with business and healthcare regulatory objectives.

EU citizens will be requested a registration certificate in Spain. Non-EU residents must hold a valid residence and work permit. Additionally, all applicants must possess educational qualifications that are accredited or recognized by the Ministry of Education to ensure compliance with the standard educational requirements for the role.

Key responsibilities

  • ‍Full-Stack Software Development: Full-Stack Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable healthcare software platforms, automated data pipelines, and cloud-native applications using modern back end and frontend technologies.‍
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Analyze technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.‍
  • Automated Testing & Reliability: Design and maintain automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and pipeline-level testing) to ensure reliability and compliance of production systems.‍
  • Cloud-Native Development & DevOps: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native development practices within AWS-based production environments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data science, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams to align engineering efforts with business and compliance requirements.‍
  • Deliverability & Quality Assurance: Take full ownership of project deliverables, ensuring that software releases meet FDA and CE compliance requirements, are tested rigorously, and adhere to ISO quality management system standards.‍
  • Technical Guidance & Innovation: Contribute to software architecture decisions and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud computing, AI/ML systems, and healthcare data platforms.‍
  • Regulatory Awareness: Work within regulated software development environments and collaborate with quality and regulatory teams to support validation, traceability, and audit activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • ‍Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.‍
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in a regulated or highly-compliance environment such as MedTech or healthcare.
    • Experience developing production-grade software platforms and cloud-native applications.
    • Experience working across backend, frontend, and data processing systems.
  • Technical skills:‍
    • Strong experience in Python, Django, and C# programming language.
    • Proven experience with .NET Core and enterprise application frameworks (e.g. ABP.IO)
    • Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
    • Solid PostgreSQL/SQL database knowledge
    • Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably in AWS environments.
    • Proven experience with CI/CD principles deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
    • Experience in agile methodologies and automated testing strategies.
    • Experience with Git-based version control systems and deployment techniques.
    • Solid understanding of software security best practices, especially in handling sensitive medical data.
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in cross-functional settings.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

  • Experience with ABP.IO Framework‍
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards (FDA regulations, IVDR, ISO 13485, ISO 62304)
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMP, or equivalent.
